LMTA's Randy Guillot Appointed to LA Ports & Waterways Investment Commission by Governor |

Governor Jeff Landry announced appointments to the Louisiana Ports and Waterways Investment Commission. This Commission will serve as an advocate for all of our state’s ports and waterways investment interests, articulating a vision for the future through the development of a strategic plan and investment program.

OUR ASK: Solutions to make the playing field level and more accessible for businesses having to fight fraud through civil litigation!
Randy Guillot pleads with lawmakers to help find common-sense solutions to the complex and costly process of fighting insurance fraud in the state of Louisiana. There needs to be a better way for truckers and business owners alike to fight fraud, which is a large contributor to our current insurance crisis.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Four Legislative Committees are meeting monthly to hear expert testimony and look at the facts on why insurance is so expensive in Louisiana.

Louisiana State Police Offer Safety and Compliance Services for Carriers and Drivers |
|
Louisiana State Police (LSP) are offering safety and compliance services for carriers and professional drivers. This is a great opportunity for truckers and their drivers to understand what LSP are looking for on the highway. LSP will come to your facility and train your crew. Please note: this is not a class. Contact Brady Johnson at brady.johnson@la.gov if you would like LSP to perform one of these services for you. Services are provided across the state and are open to fleets of all sizes. No fleet is too big or too small!
