LMTA Seafood Gala | April 15

LMTA's Annual Seafood Gala is the association's premier social and networking event of the year! With music, drinks, and - of course, premier Louisiana seafood - you do not want to miss this event.
This year's Gala will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Hilton Capitol Center in Baton Rouge. This historic hotel, located in downtown Baton Rouge, overlooks the Mississippi River providing amazing views of the state's capitol.
This year's tickets can be purchased online for $125.00 each.
ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BY APRIL 3, 2023!
SPONSORSHIPS As the Association's largest event, our annual Seafood Gala is the perfect opportunity to meet our members and get your company recognized with Louisiana's trucking business community! With several different opportunity levels, we have a sponsorship for almost any budget. Each sponsorship provides a unique sponsorship opportunity and a number of complimentary tickets for you and your business.

ACCOMMODATIONS A designated LMTA room rate is available at the Hilton Capitol Center starting at $159.00 per night. Members and all those attending our 2023 Gala are welcome to book the block. Booking can be completed online or by calling (225) 344-5866.

NEXT THURS - Join LMTA & the Louisiana Workforce Commission for our first Industry Sector Meeting.

Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) and LMTA are looking to hold Industry Sector Meetings for transportation in various regions throughout the state. We are looking for large (over 50 Trucks) and small (Under 50 Trucks) companies to attend.
We want to listen to issues for the industry in the various regions and statewide from the owners of the companies that haul throughout Louisiana and the country. Workgroups could be formed after the initial meeting to solve the issues.
The first meeting will be in Baton Rouge on March 30 from 10 am to noon at the LMTA office.

President's TruckPAC Crawfish Cook-Off | Apr. 29

Proceeds to benefit TruckPAC, LMTA's Political Action Committee

Join us for the LMTA President's Crawfish Cook-off, benefiting LMTA's TruckPac.
The "Battle of the Paddle" will see teams of four compete for bragging rights for the best crawfish among Louisiana's truckers. Register your team, or purchase an individual registration to taste them all!
VIEW RELEASE AND COMPETITION RULES
Along with crawfish, registrants will also enjoy Lucky Dogs, house-made jambalaya and snowballs. Families with kids are welcome, with a spacewalk and music during the competition.
All proceeds will benefit LMTA TruckPac, The Political Action Committee of the LMTA. All forms of registration are donations to TruckPAC.
PLEASE NOTE: Registrant fees are viewed as contributions to TruckPAC and are not tax-deductible. Information on the contributor will be reported to the Louisiana Board of Ethics. When registering, please complete the name and address section for proper record keeping.

PAR President Dr. Steven Procopio will interview gubernatorial candidates at 2:00 p.m. to discuss public policy issues and their plans to move the state forward. PAR's Annual Conference and Luncheon takes place on Wednesday, April 26, at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge.
