FEBRUARY 7 CANDIDATES - EARLY VOTING ENDS SATURDAY
TruckPAC, the political action committee of the Louisiana Motor Transport Association (LMTA), is proud to announce its endorsements in the upcoming February 7 election.
These endorsements reflect TruckPAC’s commitment to supporting candidates who understand the trucking industry, respect the rule of law, and will stand up for Louisiana’s small businesses and carriers.
-
Reese "Skip" Broussard – Louisiana House, District 37 (Jeff Davis & Eastern Calcasieu Parishes) TruckPAC proudly endorses Skip Broussard for State House District 37. He has demonstrated a clear understanding of the challenges facing trucking and small businesses and is committed to being a strong, reliable voice for our industry at the Capitol.
-
Brad Daigle – Louisiana House, District 60 (Assumption & Iberville Parishes) TruckPAC is also endorsing Brad Daigle, who has shown a willingness to support policies that strengthen Louisiana’s economy and protect the interests of employers and job creators, including the trucking industry.

MAY 16 - PARTY PRIMARY ELECTIONS - EARLY VOTING MAY 2 - 9
TruckPAC, endorses Judge William "Billy" Burris
-
William "Billy" Burris – Louisiana Supreme Court This race is one of the most consequential elections for Louisiana’s trucking industry in decades. The Louisiana Supreme Court directly influences liability exposure, insurance costs, employment law, and broader business stability. TruckPAC supports Billy Burris because of his conservative, strict-constructionist judicial philosophy—interpreting the law as written, not creating it from the bench. His approach provides the predictability and fairness our industry depends on.
