Bosses and Beers | November 5, 2024 |
|
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming TruckPAC Future Leaders Event "Bosses and Beers" that benefits TruckPAC. Come enjoy a beer and let's talk about how we should be recruiting our future leaders who will blaze trails for Louisiana’s trucking industry.
Your support and participation are crucial as we continue to shape the future of our industry. A $50 donation to TruckPAC is requested to attend this event. This contribution will pay for beer, pizza and directly support our efforts to advocate for and develop future leaders in the trucking industry. We hope you can join us for an evening of great conversation and networking.

Human Trafficking Prevention Event | August 27 |
|
LMTA members and industry stakeholders are invited to attend a Human Trafficking prevention event, a Truckers Against Trafficking Coalition Build, hosted by The Monroe, Louisiana Coalition Build. The event will be held August 27, 2024 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Please join us for a half-day human trafficking awareness event that aims to bring together key stakeholders from the trucking, truck stop, bus, and energy industries with local, state, and federal law enforcement and government agencies. This collaborative effort seeks to close loopholes and enhance measures against human traffickers.

BILL CLARK MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT The Bill Clark Memorial Golf Tournament will begin promptly at 8:00 am at Lakewood Golf - Azalea Course (5910 Lakewood Dr, Fairhope, AL 36532). Registration will open at 7:30 am in the club house.

2024 Bill Clark Memorial Golf Tournament | July 25, 2024 |
|
The 2024 Bill Clark Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, July 25 at the Azalea Course on the Lakewood Golf Course in Fairhope, AL. The Tournament will take place before the 2024 LMTA Annual Convention in Point Clear, AL, and requires additional registration.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided alongside the chance to win door prizes and compete in the $50,000 Shoot Out Competition. Prizes will also be given to the player closest to the pin and the competitor with the longest drive.
This year's event is organized by Tournament Director Tim Ordoyne and is a fundraising opportunity for the LMTA. Sponsorships are also available for the event and can be purchased online or by contacting Tim (timo@peterbiltofla.com).

Louisiana State Police Offer Safety and Compliance Services for Carriers and Drivers |
|
Louisiana State Police (LSP) are offering safety and compliance services for carriers and professional drivers. This is a great opportunity for truckers and their drivers to understand what LSP are looking for on the highway. LSP will come to your facility and train your crew. Please note: this is not a class. Contact Brady Johnson at brady.johnson@la.gov if you would like LSP to perform one of these services for you. Services are provided across the state and are open to fleets of all sizes. No fleet is too big or too small!
