Fall meeting for the LMTA Board of Directors at LMTA's Management & Membership Forum. The schedule for all LMTA meetings can be found below.

  • Noon-12:45 pm (TruckPAC meeting)
  • 12:45 pm-1:15 pm (Legislative Committee meeting)
  • 1:15 pm -3:00 pm (Board of Directors meeting)

We ask that all Directors planning to attend this meeting, either in-person or by sending a proxy, complete registration so we can establish a quorum. Proxy forms can be accessed on members' Info Hub under "resources" or downloaded here. Please send all completed proxy forms to renee@lmta.la.

FMCSA - Extends the Emergency Declaration

No. 2022-013 - Hurricane Ian - Florida and South Carolina

FMCSA extends the Hurricane Ian Regional Emergency Declaration (only two states are impacted:  Florida and South Carolina).  

  • The Declaration will expire on November 28th, 2022.

Slidell Touch a Truck - Weather Postponement

RESCHEDULED: November 5, 2022

 

From Slidell Noon Lions Club:

Touch-a-Truck that was scheduled for this weekend (Oct. 29) has been POSTPONED due to weather. Lion Dan has been in touch with WWL's weatherman Chris Franklin, who expects scattered rain on and off most of the day, with some areas getting up to an inch of rainfall. The make-up day will take place the following week on Saturday, Nov. 5. Have a safe and happy weekend. We will see everyone on Nov. 5.

  • Tropics remain active but no impacts expected for the northern Gulf Coast
