LA DOTD TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

 

WHAT: All lanes of I-12 East between the I-10/I-12 split and Essen Lane will be closed overnight and traffic will be detoured. 

 

WHEN: The closure and detour begin at 10 p.m. Monday, May 20, and will end at 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 21.

 

HOW:  The detour is to take I-10 East to the Essen Lane exit and Essen Lane north to the I-12 East onramp.

 

WHY: To allow crews to take down the old overpass as a part of the  College Flyover project.

REMINDER: Drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
