2026 Volunteers - Louisiana Truck Driving Championships
Volunteers help make TDC possible. Roles and schedules will be assigned closer to the event. Please share your availability and experience below.
Volunteer roles with shift times can be found below. Please note this is not an exhaustive list of all positions.
Training times and meeting details will be shared closer to the event.
NOTE TO PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS: Unlike nationals, professional drivers not competing in this year's competition MAY volunteer in ANY role.

FRIDAY:
- Driver Registration Assistant: Assist with Driver Registration (11:00 am - 1:00 pm)
- Written Exam Proctor: Assist in monitoring contestants, elevating contestant questions to test supervisor (1:00 - 4:00 pm)
- Logistical Runners - Also known as "Den Mother(s)": Assist with directing contestants and managing the flow of the event (is not a female exclusive position). (2:00 - 5:00 pm)
- Pre-Trip - Judge: Check that contestants find defects in a designated vehicle. (1:30 - 5:00 pm)
- Pre-Trip - Score Recorder: Records notes/scores by judges to scantron to process scoring. (1:30 - 5:00 pm)
SATURDAY:
Typically, with the number of drivers registered for this year's TDC, the competition ends around Noon. Event closing times may vary.

- Equipment Handlers/Hostlers: Assist with managing the trucks on the course (A active CDL is required for this role). (6:30 am - Close of Event)
- Driving Course - Judge: Check that contestants complete exercises on course. (6:30 am - Close of Event)
- Driving Course - Time Keeper: Records times for the driving portion alongside judges.

- Driving Course - Emcee & AV Operator: As each driver enters the course, our emcees share facts on each contestant to the crowd. (6:30 am - Close of Event)
