Quarterly Check-In with the Chief - DOTD Industry Issues Webinar

Join us each quarter for a Quarterly Check-In with Chief Jeff Melchior, Chief of Police for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD).

These informal sessions are a chance for Louisiana’s trucking community to hear important updates directly from DOTD Police — and just as importantly, to speak up. Truckers, dispatchers, and company reps are encouraged to bring their questions, concerns, and real-world challenges to the table.

These are open to all truckers and Louisiana's trucking industry - you DO NOT need to be a member of the LMTA to participate or suggest topics.

Use the form below to submit any topics or issues you’d like discussed during the check-in.
It’s a conversation, not a lecture — and your voice matters.

Please verify that you have checked the “I'm not a robot” checkbox.

For updates regarding these quarterly meetings.

Examples of topics may be: Inspections, ticket concerns, scale house delays, oversize/overweight enforcement, communication with officers, ELD/logbook questions, hazmat transport concerns, regulation updates, emergency response coordination, local vs. DOTD enforcement issues PLUS SO MANY MORE!

Topics are NOT limited to those above. Please share any issues, concerns or questions your fleet or drivers are experiencing!
