For over 30 years, together with the American Trucking Associations, LMTA has sponsored a trip for motor carrier executives from Louisiana to go to Washington, D.C, to discuss issues of importance to our industry with our Congressional delegation. This is a great opportunity for members to speak one-on-one with lawmakers, voicing the issues that concern our industry the most.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Call on Washington, D.C. was a virtual event. We're excited to announce that this will be our first "in-person" trip since 2019. To have adequate representation from across the state, this year's group was selected based on location and industry.
Details, including our priority talking points and schedule, will be available for registrants closer to our arrival in D.C.
