LC Transport Services, LLC
Founded: February 16, 2022
Location: Prairieville, LouisianaOwners: Louis and Jordanna Coleman
LC Transport Services, LLC was founded by husband-and-wife team Louis and Jordanna Coleman on February 16, 2022, out of faith, grit, and a commitment to building a better future for their family. Headquartered in Prairieville, Louisiana, LC Transport is grassroots, family-owned business that began with one truck, one driver, and a vision to grow.
The company started humbly navigating the complexities of commercial insurance, authority activation, and dispatching from a home office. Their first load moved in November 2022, and though modest in payout, it marked the beginning of a dream realized.
Why We Started
LC Transport was born out of necessity, sparked by their son’s autism diagnosis and the need to create financial stability and flexibility for their family. Facing high therapy costs and denied insurance coverage, Louis and Jordanna made the bold decision to build a business of their own—from the ground up.
Ownership & Structure
LC Transport is a Limited Liability Company (LLC), with Jordanna Coleman holding 51% ownership and Louis Coleman 49%. Together, they’ve built a dynamic operational team, combining driving expertise with administrative leadership.
Core Services & Future Direction
LC Transport currently offers: Dry Van, Flatbed, Step Deck, Box Truck, and Hotshot Freight
While the business began with general freight, LC Transport is now strategically transitioning to specialize in bulk liquid transportation, particularly hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and wastewater. With plans to expand tanker operations and pursue Hazmat certification, the company is focused on serving chemical manufacturers, refineries, environmental contractors, and utility clients throughout Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region.
Growth Milestones
Key moments in LC Transport’s journey include Louis stepping into a full-time driving role and Jordanna leaving her career in September 2024 to run the business full-time. These bold steps allowed them to focus on building infrastructure, refining operations, and improving profitability.
To date, LC Transport has generated over $1 million in revenue within two years—without loans or investors—driven by discipline, relationships, and long-term vision.
Looking Ahead
As LC Transport positions itself in the bulk chemical and environmental services markets, its mission is to become a trusted carrier for hazardous and non-hazardous liquid freight. The company is committed to safe, compliant, and reliable service, supported by strong customer relationships, efficient dispatching, and a deep understanding of industry requirements.
This business is more than logistics—it’s a family legacy in the making. LC Transport is building with purpose, and the best is yet to come.
